If you are looking for a witty and funny biography, you should consider reading Yes, Please by Amy Poehler. It is written as though you are having a face to face conversation with Amy and you have been friends for a long time. The book is a quick read and highlights everything from Amy's first theater role in 4th grade, college, her start in comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade, her debut on Saturday Night Live, to her perspectives on motherhood, marriage, and divorce. She does mention drug use and some of her sexual encounters so if that makes you a bit uncomfortable, you may want to skip those sections. If you are a fan of her comedy, I think you will like this book. It will add humor to your day.
